But these are just awful! They have a very strange odor that I can't quite put my finger on that I noticed as soon as I opened the box. The first thought I had was 'Oh Crap' I hope they don't taste like that smell. Well, they do. And it is some kind of unpleasant I tell ya. I can't say whether it's from an ingredient, or the result of a smell picked up during storage, but they're gross.I have never written a review before but was compelled to in this instance. Don't buy these!! 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful  taste is pretty good, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: YummyEarth Organic Gummy Bears, 5-Pound Box (Grocery) when i opened the box to take out the gummy bears i got a dry clumped together heap of gummy bears. it looked like a gummy bear fruit cake. does not look like what you would expect for a package of gummy bears but the taste is pretty good to me anyway. i got slightly over 5 lbs of gummy bears when i weight it.these gummy bears are on the harder chewier side similar to some of the grocery store bulk bin gummy bears which is fine with me but maybe not for others. and even though they are clumped together you can peel each individual bear apart and eat them. i peel off a clump from the big clump and peel off the individual bears to eat. The taste for me is on par with something like a black forest gummy bear except that these are harder and "look" more dull and dry but the looks don't bother me so it was a non issue just mentioning it for others. all in all i bought these because i don't want to eat gummy bears with red 1 and blue 40 etc and they taste...
